It offers a chance to step back into the Middle Ages, an era when falconry was truly a way of life.
For 45 minutes, successive scenes transport you into the world of falconry, from the steppes of Central Asia through the Near East to the feudal lords. Discover the fascinating flying skills of birds of prey. Marvel at the majesty of eagles, the agility of buzzards and kites, the swiftness of falcons, the elegance of snakes, the soft flight of owls and vultures...
This breathtaking aerial ballet of raptors in free flight, perfectly synchronized with horses and donkeys, creates unforgettable memories for visitors of all ages. After the show, explore one of France’s most beautiful bird-of-prey sanctuaries, home to around 90 birds spanning 20 different species! Falconry, an ancient hunting tradition dating back over 4,000 years, is practiced worldwide. This art of hunting on the wing reached its peak in the Middle Ages and has been passed down through generations.
