Sound and light shows have become a must for highlighting our most beautiful monuments, both in the Paris region and elsewhere. Immersive and accessible to all audiences, they allow us to showcase little-known sites or, on the contrary, famous monuments throughout the region.
This summer, we head to the Blandy-les-Tours Castle, for the new season of Les Lumières de Blandy, an unmissable event in July and August 2026. Come and discover the castle’s sound-and-light show created by Holymage, with actors from Sculpteurs de Rêves.
In the heart of the Seine-et-Marne department, the Seine-et-Marne, the Château de Blandy-les-Tours is far less known than the famous châteaux de Versailles or Vaux-le-Vicomte nearby. Yet this historic monument testifies to a rich past. For the sixth year running, the château invites visitors of all ages to discover its history and that of the Vicomtes de Melun, by attending L'Héritage des Vicomtes, an immersive sound-and-light show offered in a slightly updated version for this 2026 edition.

From July 3 to August 29, 2026, relive the story of the Blandy-les-Tours Castle from its inner courtyard, where the major events that shaped the site are recounted. Each evening, at dusk, the castle courtyard comes alive as the Lights of Blandy illuminate the walls.
The gates open at 8.30pm, giving you the chance to explore the entire château, its various rooms and the covered walkway that surrounds the medieval building. This is your chance to discover the newly laid flagstones and immerse yourself in the history of this monument with its rich past.
With the spectacle on the way, dinner becomes a question. You can either opt for one of the three restaurants surrounding Blandy Castle (just remember to book). Or bring your own pique-nique to spread out on the grass. Naturally, think of a blanket to sit on and unwind before the show starts. Some people bring their chaises pliables for extra comfort. On-site, a small buvette with glaces artisanales awaits the hungry and the thirsty.
Then comes the show, a blend of live actors on stage and sound-and-light projections projected onto the façades surrounding the inner courtyard. The magic works, and you’re swept away by the venue’s story—from its rulers and its splendor to its battles, its abandonment, and its restoration. In short, a perfect way to spend a memorable evening and feast your eyes, for two, with friends or with family.
Don’t miss this stunning spectacle son et lumière inside a medieval castle—a magical summer outing to enjoy in Seine-et-Marne! It’s best to book your tickets in advance to make the most of the evening.
