In Rambouillet for Bastille Day, the fireworks have finally been postponed to the return after a prefectural decree. But the rendezvous is kept for Monday, July 13, 2026 for the popular ball.

Due to very high fire risk linked to the heatwave and the dryness of the vegetation, the City of Rambouillet must postpone part of its Bastille Day festivities planned for Monday, July 13.

  • The pyrosymphonic show has been postponed to autumn.
  • The patriotic ceremony, however, remains scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at Place André-Thome and Jacqueline-Thome-Patenôtre.
  • To preserve this moment of conviviality, the popular dance in Place Félix Faure is moved forward to 9:30 p.m.

Fireworks display, a popular dance floor, and official commemorations: the town of Rambouillet, located in the Yvelines, is celebrating the fête nationale in grand style! The municipality invites us to join on Monday, July 13, 2026 to take part in the various activities tied to the Fête nationale.

Rambouillet is a commune 45 kilometers from Paris, famous for its castle and its dense forest, which extends over 200 km². But that's not all! The town is also home to a major museum dedicated to model railways, the Rambolitrain, as well as the Palais du Roi de Rome, the national sheepfold and the listed Saint-Lubin-et-Saint-Jean-Baptiste church. A beautiful heritage to discover!

But if you find yourself in Rambouillet on Monday, July 13, 2026, you’re there to celebrate! The town marks Bastille Day and the 14 July fireworks a day early, but with a festive, family-friendly lineup. Read on for a detailed look at what’s in store.

What’s planned for the 2026 Bastille Day celebrations in Rambouillet:

  • Several highlights will punctuate the national day celebrations on Monday, July 13. At 5:30 p.m., the André-Thome and Jacqueline-Thome-Patenôtre square will host the traditional patriotic ceremony.
  • Then come the festivities with the pyrosymphonic show starting at 10:45 p.m. on the Rondeau site in the Château park. To give you time to enjoy the venue, the gates will open at 8:30 p.m.
  • To close the evening, a public dance will be offered.

The fireworks display is, of course, free and open to everyone. Happy National Day to all!
