Halloween 2025: family screening of Casper, the friendly ghost, at the Cité du Cinéma

For Halloween, the Cité du Cinéma invites young and old to rediscover Casper, the friendliest of ghosts, at an event screening on October 31, 2025. This remastered version of a family cinema session, a far cry from the horror films of the period, celebrates the 30th anniversary of Brad Silberling's cult film, in which audiences discovered this lovable little ghost in his mansion.

In the middle of the All Saints' Day vacations, the whole family will enjoy this festive event, full of surprises and nostalgia, starting at 2.30pm. On the program: gift distribution, sweets for everyone, and of course a great competition for the best disguise! Who will be the best ghost? The synopsis

Carrigan Crittenden has just lost her husband. He bequeathed his fortune to charity, leaving his wife nothing but an old, abandoned manor house. In a rage, she throws the will into the fire, revealing a message that a treasure is hidden there. The mansion is inhabited by Casper, agentle 10-year-old ghost, and his three uncles: irascible Stretch, filthy Stinkie and fat Fatso.
