Heritage Days 2023: jewels to visit in the town of Sucy-en-Brie (94)

The Fort de Sucy is a 19th-century military edifice with a fine history: built from 1879 onwards to reinforce the protection of Paris after the siege of 1870, the fort has come down to us in perfect condition, with all its original features. The fort is one of Sucy-en-Brie's landmarks, but it's not its only asset!

Château, orangery, church, chapel, wineries, beehives, art galleries: there are many treasures to be found in this small town in the Val-de-Marne, south-east of Paris.

For the 40th Journées du Patrimoine, on September 16 and 17, 2023, treat yourself to a wonderful stroll through Sucy-en-Brie. The Val-de-Marne municipality boasts a rich history and a host of attractive sites, sure to enthrall young and old alike!
