Discover Molitor in a new light, that's what the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) are offering you, as they return for a new 42nd edition on Saturday September 20 and Sunday September 21, 2025. As in previous editions, the Journées du Patrimoine invite curious visitors and enthusiasts to push open the doors of museums and monuments, institutions and châteaux, free of charge, as well as unusual, hidden and little-known places.
Why not take advantage of the Journées du Patrimoine to discover the sublime and famous Molitor swimming pool in a different light? Nestled in the chic 16th arrondissement of Paris, the Molitor pool was inaugurated in 1929, and designed by architect Lucien Pollet.
At the time, it quickly became the capital's most popular swimming pool, thanks to its two pools and avant-garde atmosphere. After closing in 1989 and being listed as a historic monument, the Molitor pool rose from the ashes in 2014 to become a chic Parisian hotel. Come and take advantage of the Journées du Patrimoine 2025 to push open the doors of this legendary Paris swimming pool. Please note that some activities require registration!
For the European Heritage Days, Molitor opens its doors to you for an immersion into its history and legendary architecture.
Accompanied by your guide, discover the emblematic architectural elements of the Molitor pools: the railings, the stained-glass windows designed by Louis Barillet, the portholes - a true immersion in Art Deco.
Discover urban art around the world.
Discover the world of urban art through the 70 former changing booths at the Molitor swimming pool, painted by French and international artists. The new artists' booths at Molitor have been taken over by artists from Asia, Africa, America, the Middle East, Europe and France.
An exclusive privilege: book your table at the Molitor restaurant from September 17 to 21, and enjoy free access to the Sunday tours without waiting, thanks to the "coupe-file" (on presentation of your bill).
