Heritage Days 2026 program at the Christofle House:

Discovering Christofle’s Silverware
During their visit, participants will have the opportunity to explore several facets of Christofle’s metalwork and the craft of the silversmith.

Each tour is conducted in a small group and will feature four workshops from the following:

* an introductory overview tracing Christofle’s history, from its founding by Charles Christofle to its international prominence,

* a look at the main stages in the making of a piece of cutlery, through a demonstration of die-stamping and the tools that birth Christofle’s silverware,

* an interactive game inviting visitors to guess the uses of cutlery and unusual objects drawn from the Maison’s historical heritage,

* a meeting with Haute Orfèvrerie artisans, accompanied by demonstrations of assembly, chasing, and burnishing techniques,

* a presentation of the know-how dedicated to the restoration of antique pieces and the Vintage service, which brings Christofle’s heritage back to life,

* a live demonstration of hand engraving, illustrating the art of personalizing both exceptional creations and everyday pieces.
