Since it opened in 1967, the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature has sought to document man's relationship with nature over the centuries, from Antiquity to the present day.
The rich collection of ancient, modern and contemporary works of art on display, constantly added to by the owners of the"Musée de France" label, includes naturalized animals and inspirational elements that make this museum, located in the heart of the Marais district in the Guénégaud and Mongelas mansions, a kind of reproduction of the animal world in its environment.
Curious visitors will discover naturalized animals from Asia, Africa and America; hunting weapons, paintings and many other objects.

OK MOKU HANGA

A poetic dialogue between Japanese engraving, contemporary graphic design and the animal world. A 19th-century print, rediscovered in Kyoto, is reinterpreted for our times: between light and shadow, the image gradually appears... an owl!
SPINNING AROUND
By Sophia Taillet
In the courtyard of the Hôtel de Mongelas, mobile mirrored steel structures reflect the architecture and visitors.

Sébastien Desplat will be running a continuous workshop from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm on Sunday September 21.
The workshop will echo the OK MOKU HANGA installation created by Sébastien Desplat and Fanette Mellier.
