Card games will soon have no secrets for you! For the 40th edition of the Journées du Patrimoine, the Musée de la Carte à Jouer invites you to discover its collections on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th September 2023. This unusual museum has prepared some very special events for this cultural weekend.
For the record, the French Playing Card Museum opened its doors in 1981, and is housed in the entrance pavilion of the former château des Princes de Conti. The museum is one of the few in the world to deal with the subject of playing cards. In all, over 7,000 decks of playing cards are on display in this cultural center, along with engravings, drawings and other objects related to the world of card games...
Exhibitions, meetings, events and shows: the Musée de la Carte à Jouer hosts a wide range of events to showcase its collections, but also to help us discover the history of the town of Issy-les-Moulineaux.
