On the occasion of the Journées du Patrimoine, theSaint-Jean-l'Évangéliste-de-Montmartre church reveals its special program on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17, 2023. This was the first church built in reinforced concrete between 1897 and 1904 by architect Anatole de Baudot, at the instigation of Abbé Sobaux. Ceramic and sandstone cladding give the building a picturesque appearance. The colorful stained glass windows, by Jac Galland, are among the finest figurative stained glass of the early 20th century. The church has been listed on the Inventaire supplémentaire des Monuments historiques since 1966.
