Heritage Days 2023 : Alfred Picard's incredible Paris, an escape game at the Grand Palais

It's an event we look forward to every year. If you're a fan of art, history, politics, fashion, sport or heritage, you won't want to miss this exceptional weekend... The Journées du Patrimoine return to Paris and the Île-de-France region on September 16 and 17, 2023. This 40th edition will focus on living heritage and the heritage of sport. Themes that should inspire the places of interest that surround us.

Each year, several thousand sites open their doors to the public. Ministries, parliaments, museums, monuments, department stores, transport hubs, churches, leisure and art centers... They're all taking part in this great heritage celebration, even those closed for renovation!

Yes, that's right: the Grand Palais is organizing a special event for the Journées du Patrimoine 2023. Unfortunately, the building is still closed, but it is inviting us to take part in an original escape game taking place on the outskirts of the building. For this new edition, plunge into a fascinating story, revealing some of the secrets of the capital's most beautiful monuments...

Bring your sneakers for this mission, which takes us on a journey between the 8th and 7th arrondissements. Note also that your starting point changes according to your style of play: for a family experience, you'll meet at the Champs-Élysées Clemenceau metro station (Grand Palais / Petit Palais). For adult versions, there are three meeting points: the Théâtre Marigny, the Champs-Élysées Clemenceau metro station (Grand Palais / Petit Palais), or the Hôtel national des Invalides.

This escape game is free of charge, but can only be booked in advance. Visit the Grand Palais website from the end of August to register.
