Old car enthusiasts are in for a treat this Heritage Days weekend, with nearly 200 beautiful automobiles on display in Suresnes! Every year, the Suresnes Tourist Office organizes a gathering of vintage cars on the Terrasse du Fécheray, with a view over Paris and an attractive program featuring free rides in these fast-moving machines and an exhibition on the city's industrial evolution.
And even fans of American cars will find something to satisfy them! A real feast for the eyes, with cars that are rarely seen in our part of the world. But Suresnes know-how is also showcased, with vintage cars built in the Hauts-de-Seine region in the early 20th century, including Talbot, Darracq and Le Zèbre. Children won't be outdone by the many fun activities on offer!
Collectors will be on hand all weekend to answer your questions or take you for a ride in their unusual cars, from 2pm to 6pm. It's an opportunity to explore the town, passing through the Cité-jardins and the Mémorial de la France Combattante. Also on the program for this free weekend is a Concours d'Elegance on Sunday afternoon, with the Public Prize and the Children's Favourite, as well as an exhibition tracing the development of the automotive sector and recounting the creation of automobile factories in Suresnes.
