Opening performance "Tout en assiégeant" by the company Les Tailleurs d’Histoire
A musical and theatrical creation built around new Renaissance songs: rhymed texts written by soldiers of the 16th century recounting their own experiences during campaigns and sieges. They are always sung to the tune of different melodies. This is an opportunity to spotlight the life of a 16th-century soldier, caught between the waning image of chivalry and the complex geopolitical stakes of Europe on the eve of the Reformation.

Talk by Isabelle Chapuis
Lecture by Isabelle Chapuis, photographer and exhibitor on the railings of Square Jean Moulin until October 4, 2026, followed by a Q&A session.
During this talk, the artist will outline the key moments of her career and the range of works that have brought her into the spotlight, with a particular focus on the project "Vivant, Le sacre du corps," displayed on the railings of Square Jean Moulin in Châtillon. This work formed the basis of her first book. In the course of the gathering, Isabelle Chapuis will share the development of a series—from creation to realization and finally its exhibition and publication journey.
Alongside her practice as a photographer and visual artist, she is also a therapeutic photographer, a discipline in which she trained. Today she has developed her own method and uses photography as a tool for inner exploration. She has conceived an inner journey inviting everyone to free the voice of the body and to explore the transformative power of imagery. She will discuss this dimension of photography "that cares," one that can support a person's resilience.

Throughout the year, around forty artists—led by the Urban Maker group and other local creatives—came to spray-paint the school walls during class time, sometimes with the children, the teachers, and the parents, as well as during open-house weekends.
