The Journées du Patrimoine is one of the highlights of September ! During this flagship cultural event, many of our heritage treasures reveal their secrets through an attractive program of visits, events and workshops, often free of charge. In Paris and throughout theÎle-de-France region, there are countless venues taking part in this event. Museums, monuments, castles, churches, or even places that are usually closed to the public, there's plenty to do to find a program to suit your interests, while filling up on cultural goodies.
Looking for something new? Well, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) offer a whole host of exceptional visits every year. Several ministries are taking part in the ballet, much to the delight of those curious enough to take advantage of this rare opportunity. Located in the Latin Quarter, in the heart of theformer École Polytechnique buildings, the Pavillon Boncourt currently houses the Ministry of Higher Education and Research. You'll then have the opportunity to enjoy the special program that awaits you there for the 40th edition of the Journées du Patrimoine on the weekend of September 16 and 17, 2023.
