The Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days ) are held every year on the third weekend in September. This not-to-be-missed event showcases our heritage treasures and allows you to explore our culture and heritage from every angle, through a fabulous program of visits and events, often free of charge. Not only do we take advantage of events in cultural venues such as museums, monuments and castles, but alsoexceptional openings in places usually closed to the public.
Why not visit a château in the heart of Paris? Now's your chance to conquer a stunning Renaissance residence nestled in the heart of the 13th arrondissement. Just a stone's throw from the Manufacture des Gobelins , the Château de la Reine Blanche surprises Parisians and visitors alike with its early 16th-century architecture. It is linked to a complex known as l'îlot de la Reine Blanche, comprising two other buildings dating from the 15th and 17th centuries.
