The 41st edition of the Journées du Patrimoine will be held on September 21 and 22, 2024 in Paris and Île-de-France. Take advantage of the opportunity to discover the treasures of our region during guided tours,exceptional openings and workshops in unusual locations!
For the occasion, and to the delight of enthusiasts, theInstitut National du Sport, better known as INSEP, in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes, unveils its program! This 28-hectare campus is home to the crème de la crème of French champions, who live and train here all year round. The flagship of top-level sport in France, the Institute has been supporting athletes and federations since 1965, in the form of a veritable village where some 450 athletes can be found.
This is where future Olympic champions and world medalists are trained, according to national performance needs. Young athletes can arrive as early as junior high school and follow a schooling program that combines classes and training. Boxing, archery, badminton, basketball, track and field, aquatic center, judo, fencing - a wide range of disciplines are represented, to provide the best possible welcome for athletes. To name but a few, you'll be following in the footsteps of Teddy Riner, Tony Parker and Marie-Josée Perec!
