Horizon: that's the name of the free acrobatic happening between ballet and circus that awaits you at the Palais Royal from September 15 to 17, 2023, as part of the Journées du Patrimoine.
Take to the courtyard of the Domaine national du Palais-Royal, in place of Buren's columns, and let yourself be carried away by this spectacular sound show. Compagnie l'Oubliée, directed by Raphaëlle Boitel, transforms the roofs and passageways of the Palais-Royal into a grandiose stage.
Horizon is much more than just a show. It's an invitation to see the gardens of the Palais-Royal in a whole new way. Just by looking up, you can observe the acrobatic and artistic ballet inspired by the imposing architecture of the site.
Schedule of performances :
Admission is free of charge from Place Colette 1 hour before each performance.
Horizon integrates several disciplines:
Every scene, every move, every movement is based on the building's unique perspectives. Conceived over several days of rehearsals open to the public, the show becomes an ode to freedom and creativity.
Lighting by the artistic team :
This production by Compagnie L'Oubliée has the privilege of a grant from Paris 2024 for the Cultural Olympiad and the support of the French Ministry of Culture.
So why not discover this unique show? Let yourself be enchanted by this visual and acrobatic adventure. We can't recommend an exceptional show in such an iconic location! And while you're there, don't forget to discover "Reflexion", Emmanuel Barrois' contemporary work in the heart of the Jardin du Palais Royal.
