The Journées du Patrimoine are back for their 42nd edition. On the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025, a host of private and public venues will be opening their doors to you, and offering you a special program. Enthusiasts and the curious, young and old, come together to enjoy a host of cultural highlights at monuments, museums, ministries, embassies, libraries, hospitals, fashion houses, schools, major institutions and many other fascinating venues. A great opportunity to explore the heritage of the Île-de-France region over a weekend.
Castles are also part of the action, and all over the region, sublime buildings steeped in history are unveiling their special programs for the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days). These monuments are often very popular with visitors, and with good reason: art, history, architecture, these castles are a dream for young and old alike!
There's no shortage of châteaux in Seine-et-Marne. Let's take a detour to 77 to discover the Château de Ferrières, located in Ferrières-en-Brie. This listed historic monument, inaugurated by Napoleon III, is sure to impress with its beautiful neo-classical façade and English garden. Discover the program for this Heritage Sunday!
Guided tour by Mireille MUNCH at 4pm/5pm or 6pm. Finally, on the occasion of the European Heritage Days, the association Sons d'Histoire will be organizing a "giant cluédo" in the château grounds.
