Journées du Patrimoine 2025: guided tours of the Olympiades slab

In the 13th arrondissement of Paris, in the heart of the capital's Asian district, lies the dalle des Olympiades. Its atypical architecture makes it highly recognizable: the buildings resemble Asian pagodas. What's more, all the buildings lining the slab are named after former Olympic host cities.

Intrigued by this little architectural curiosity? Take advantage of the Journées du Patrimoine to visit it and discover all its secrets! On the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025, the Olympiades slab becomes an exploration ground for the curious in search of new knowledge.

Every year, the Journées du Patrimoine (Heritage Days) give us the chance to visit unusual places and heritage treasures of this kind. This eagerly-awaited event is a delight for all history and heritage lovers. France, Paris and the Île-de-France region have no shortage of places to visit. Castles, museums, religious sites, relics of the past, theaters, department stores, gastronomic sites, music venues, sports venues... We're surrounded by real treasures!

  The Saint-André en Asie association, which brings together students from the Club Découverte de l'Asie at Saint-André private school under contract, will be organizing free guided tours of the Olympiades slab throughout the European Heritage Days weekend to discover its unique architecture and the secrets of Paris Asia.

  Student-led tours will last 45 minutes.

  The meeting point for each tour will be at 48 avenue d'Ivry, next to the Tang Frère store...a kakemono and a small desk will welcome visitors.

  Child-friendly tours available.
