One of the most prestigious places to visit this year is the Maison de l'Amérique latine, which will be opening its doors on Sunday, September 21, in the heart of Paris' 7th arrondissement. Created in 1946 in the spirit of dialogue between France and the Latin American nations, under the impetus of General de Gaulle, the Maison de l'Amérique Latine occupies two emblematic private mansions: the Hôtel de Varengeville (1704) and the Hôtel Amelot de Gournay (1712), both linked by majestic salons opening onto French-style gardens. A major diplomatic center, it regularly welcomes the region's ambassadors, organizes high-profile cultural events and supports economic exchanges. The Salon des Ambassadeurs, a listed historic monument, is one of the wonders to be discovered.
