Among the highlights of the collection are the painted ceiling of the 14th-century dome of Cahors Cathedral, a model of Notre-Dame de Paris, a full-scale reconstruction of one of the housing units in the Cité radieuse built by Le Corbusier in Marseilles in 1952, and a model of the Gare du Nord railway station.
The program for the Journées du Patrimoine 2025 at the Cité de l'Architecture et du Patrimoine is sure to thrill architecture enthusiasts and the curious alike. Shall we reveal it to you?

A unique opportunity to discover the mural paintings on the vault of the so-called Romanesque Sistine Chapel! Now on display in the library of the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine, the volume copy of the vault at Saint-Savin-sur-Gartempe offers a close-up view of these dynamic, fluid figures, in the ochre and pastel tones so characteristic of Romanesque mural painting in central France.
As part of the "Jardiner la ville" exhibition-workshop, Emilie Queney invites you to explore how nature can take over architecture.
She invites you to plant the Cité de l'architecture et du patrimoine!
From the drawing board to the model to scale 1, you can experiment with different representations of plants. In turn poetic, expressive, abstract or literal, flora settles in and spreads, to the delight of young and old alike!

Auguste Perret is one of the most emblematic architects of reinforced concrete architecture.
On the occasion of JEP, and in partnership with the Conseil Économique Social et Environnemental (CESE), we're offering a cross-disciplinary architectural walk. Accompanied by a mediator from each institution, discover at the Cité some models of Auguste Perret's Parisian creations, including the Palais d'Iéna, then return to the building for a life-size tour of the interiors of this resolutely modern 1936 monument.
This exhibition in the Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Architecture illustrates, through three international museums, the method used by Japanese architect Tsuyoshi Tane when working on a project: excavating the memory of places in search of what has been forgotten or erased.
In 20 minutes, the person in charge of this exhibition will introduce you to these remarkable creations and show you how this work radically questions the impact of contemporary architecture.
Would you like to rediscover our architectural heritage with your family?
