Public transport will be in full swing this Sunday, October 15, 2023, for Les Bleus' quarter-final match at the Rugby World Cup! On lines 1 and 12, Concorde and Tuileries stations are closed!

Just as on September 8, 2023, during the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup, Concorde and Tuileries stations, located on lines 1 and 12, will be closed from 1pm until Monday morning, this Sunday, October 15. The reason? The rugby village, which will be set up there for the duration of the competition, offering match broadcasts and a wide range of activities based around the oval ball.

This time, the XV de France match takes place at the Stade de France, and the subways are likely to be packed, with the whole capital decked out in blue, white and red, while fans from all over the world will be invading the bars and fan zones of Paris. If you want to get to the rugby village at Concorde, take the Madeleine station, or come on foot via rue Royale, rue de Rivoli, cours la Reine or quai des Tuileries.

This system is in place for all Les Bleus matches, and will be extended if France reach the semi-finals and final, given the large crowds expected for the event . Another rugby village is located near the Basilique Saint-Denis, a stone's throw from the Stade de France, which can be reached by line 13 or RER B.
