From September 26, 2023, to July 2024, Paris will be the scene of a major recycling drive! A great initiative launched by eco-organizations Ecomaison and Refashion, in partnership with the City of Paris and Emmaüs Défi, in 12 locations across the capital. Toys, clothes, shoes and more are being accepted for reuse or recycling, contributing to a greener, more caring future. It's time to make room in your closets! And no excuses this time, because it's for a good cause! From September 26, 2023 to July 2024, eco-organizations Ecomaison and Refashion are launching a solidarity collection in Paris, in partnership with the City of Paris and Emmaüs Défi. Residents of the City of Light can drop off their generous donations at 12 locations across the capital.
The initiative aims to rethink the collection, reuse and recycling of these essential everyday products. Toys, board games, dolls, construction sets, puzzles, scooters, balls, as well as clothes, shoes and household linen are all welcome.
Items in good condition will benefit from a second life thanks to the work of the Emmaüs Défi association, which will clean, repair or give them a makeover before offering them at solidarity prices. Broken or torn items, meanwhile, will be recycled, reducing our environmental footprint.
