For the first time, the NGO Plan International is organizing a solidarity race in Paris, in support of girls' rights and gender equality, on October 7, 2023.

Many solidarity races take place in the capital, but this is the first time that one of them has been organized in favor of girls' rights, thanks to theNGO Plan International. This Saturday, October 7, 2023, male and female runners are invited to the Bois de Boulogne for two courses to choose from, depending on your fitness: a timed 10km run or a more leisurely 5km walk. The Run for Girls aims to raise awareness of equality between girls and boys, in France and around the world, and all proceeds will be donated to the NGO.

These funds will enable concrete action to be taken, for equal access to schooling, the fight against female genital mutilation, forced marriages and so many other forms of discrimination and violence against young women. A number of celebrities will be on hand to run alongside you and speak out, including Elodie Frégé, Enora Malagré, Noémie de Lattre and Lucie Carrasco. During the race, you'll find panels to raise awareness of girls' rights, so you can run while learning.

Before the race, you'll be able to take advantage of a village set up in the Bois de Boulogne, with a yoga class and group warm-ups on the program. Don't miss the end of the race, with a concert by Dorely and Kee-Yoon Kim! It's time to run in solidarity!
