From March 1 to 31, the Pavillon des Canaux organizes Pop Meufs, the new edition of a free festival focusing on feminist struggles. Exhibitions, round tables... The Pavillon des Canaux offers a multi-disciplinary program to exchange, share and celebrate women.

Throughout March, the Pavillon des Canaux is hosting the latest edition of Pop Meufs, a festival dedicated to feminist struggles, running from March 1 to 31, 2024.

The Pop Meufs festival of feminist struggles invites you to enter its Maison Plur.iel throughout March, to take part in one of fifteen free events, open and accessible to all. A photo exhibition by Hélène Mastrandréas will also be on display for the duration of the festival. Designed around four axes (listed below), the festival encourages reflection, creation and deconstruction, in a welcoming space.

Pop Meufs 2024 themes :

1 - Inventing new "role models" with pop culture
2 - Confronting "boys clubs" in sports, video games and catering
3 - Representing minoritized people on the margins of the system
4 - Involving allies in feminist struggles

The festival program includes round tables, conferences, workshops and more festive events, with guests such as the Institut du Genre, Collectif 50/50, Planning Familial... A free event not to be missed in this month of the struggle for women's rights in Paris!
