This Wednesday, October 8, 2025, Les Halles in Paris's 1st arrondissement will be transformed into an open-air recruitment center. Under the canopy of the Westfield Forum des Halles shopping center, more than 2,500 positions are up for grabs at an XXL job dating event. The initiative, organized in partnership with France Travail Paris, the Mission locale de Paris and the Chambre du Commerce et d'Industrie (CCI), aims to facilitate access to employment for all profiles. Whether you're a young person looking for a work-linked training scheme, a senior citizen looking to retrain or someone who's been out of touch with the job market, this event is aimed at a wide and diverse audience. Some thirty companies are taking part in the recruitment day, including H&M, Lego, Intersport and Celio, as well as external players such as RATP, the City of Paris and the FrenchAir Force.
This year, the Westfield shopping center has joined forces with a number of organizations dedicated to helping young people find employment, including the Ligue des Jeunes Talents, the Centre d'Information et de Documentation Jeunesse (CIDJ), Quartier Jeunes and the Les entreprises s'engagent collective. This collaboration is a continuation of our long-standing partnership with theÉcole de la Deuxième Chance, which helps young people with no qualifications find employment.
To maximize candidates' chances of success, training sessions were offered to jobseekers on October 6 and 7. These preparatory sessions help them better understand employers' expectations and present themselves more effectively at interviews. This invaluable support will help you land the job you're looking for.
This is not the first time the event has been held. Last year, a similar job dating event was held at Les Halles, attracting 2,500 participants and generating 4,500 job interviews. This success demonstrates the growing interest in direct meetings between candidates and recruiters, in a less formal setting than traditional recruitment processes.
Located in the heart of Paris, just a stone's throw from the Marais district and Hôtel de Ville, the Westfield Forum des Halles is easily accessible via the Châtelet-Les Halles transport hub, which serves numerous metro, RER and bus lines. This strategic location makes it easy to attract candidates from all over the Paris region.
