How many people will take to the streets this Saturday, October 24, 2026? It is still too early to say. A week after the major turnout on October 17, the Yellow Vests are calling for an "act two". An interactive map listing the various actions planned across France this Saturday now shows more than 500 gatherings. According to Benjamin Ball, the publisher of the site in question, many professions will be represented, including nurses, farmers and firefighters... "Everyone will be out in the streets," he said.
Since then, student organizations have announced that they will join the October 24 mobilization. For its part, the CGT has announced that it will be back on the streets on October 24, “to accompany” and “protect” those who wish to take part in this “second round.”
As a result, because of this new demonstration scheduled for Saturday in Paris, the RATP has announced disruptions to public transport and the closure of several metro stations.
"At the request of the Paris Police Prefecture", numerous stations are closed this Saturday. As a result, trains will not stop at these stations on October 24 from 9 a.m. at Charles de Gaulle–Étoile (lines 1, 2 and 6, RER A), Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau (lines 1 and 13), Concorde (lines 1, 8 and 12), Assemblée nationale (line 12), Miromesnil (lines 9 and 13), Odéon (lines 4 and 10), Daumesnil (lines 6 and 8), Sèvres–Babylone (lines 10 and 12), and Rennes (line 12).
Note also that service will be suspended this Saturday from 9 a.m. on Line 2 between Barbès – Rochechouart and Nation. The RATP says this partial closure includes the service disruption already in effect between Barbès – Rochechouart and Père-Lachaise due to renovation work. The Avron, Alexandre Dumas, Philippe Auguste and Père-Lachaise stations are therefore also closed at the request of the Paris police prefecture. Service is also suspended on Line 12 between Madeleine and Notre-Dame-des-Champs.
