The collections at the Centre Pompidou

After two thematic displays, since 2007 the Museum has been showcasing its masterpieces in two new chronological galleries, once again occupying the entire 4th and 5th floors.

The modern collections - more than 1,300 works and almost 500 magazines - are presented in a denser, more diversified layout, highlighting artists and works from the first half of the 20th century and showcasing the latest acquisitions in this field. The 500 works in the contemporary collections are organized around a chronological principle, chosen as a guiding thread, which regularly gives way to thematic groupings and presents recent acquisitions...
