The Music Day returns to Paris and across the country on June 21, 2026, bringing a host of musical highlights! Each year on that very date, aspiring musicians take to the streets to share their world with as many people as possible. From rap to rock, and from classical to reggae, jazz, metal, electro, and even zouk—Music Day shines a spotlight on music in all its forms. This festive, accessible celebration has become a must-attend occasion for many French people.
While the street remains the preferred venue for many, there are many other places where bands and singers can be found, such as squares, gardens and parks, churches, museums and concert halls.
In Paris, music lovers won’t miss out on great gigs. But the Fête de la musique is also celebrated in many other towns across Île-de-France, including Montévrain. Nestled in Seine-et-Marne, this suburb of the region has opted to celebrate the Fête de la musique 2026 with an event to discover on Saturday, June 20 at the Mont Evrin Park!
On the lineup: a performance by the band Millénium, plus a live DJ set, a pyrotechnic show, and a laser display. Of course, this extraordinary event is open to all and free to attend.
