Like every year on the same date, the Fête de la Musique is back all over France, with a host of great music events. Because music in all its forms is celebrated every June 21, the French are spoilt for choice with concerts of rock, pop, blues, zouk, reggae, jazz, electro, French variety, metal, rap, hip-hop and RnB.
So, every June 21, many of them take to the streets to make or listen to music, eager to discover these up-and-coming talents.
While there are plenty of free concerts in Paris during the Fête de la musique, the same applies elsewhere in the Paris region. In Seine-Saint-Denis, for example, there's no shortage of good music deals. This is particularly true of Saint-Ouen. In this commune of 93, several events have been announced, such as at Mains d'Œuvres.
Described as a place for artistic and civic imagination, Mains d'œuvres un is an independent venue born of a founding desire: " to transmit creation to all, to restore the ability to imagine, feel and create our society together ", as the website puts it. Throughout the year, the venue offers exhibitions, concerts, shows, workshops and meetings.
For this year's Fête de la Musique 2025, scheduled for June 21, Mains d'Œuvres invites you to join us from 2pm for a day of hip-hop culture. On the program? Workshops and shows, a screening, a concert and a DJ set.
