This year, the Fête de la Musique celebrates its 43rd anniversary. For more than 40 years, this popular, festive and free event has been thrilling us with its rich and eclectic program every June 21.
Launched in France in 1982 at the instigation of the Ministry of Culture, the Fête de la Musique quickly became a huge success throughout France, to the point of being exported to other countries. The idea? To enable amateur musicians and singers to express themselves, get up on stage, make themselves known and share their passion with as many people as possible.
And so, every June 21, a host of budding musicians get out their instruments to bring music to life and give the public an unforgettable experience, thanks to the power of music.
This year, the Fête de la musique returns on Saturday June 21, 2025 , with a host of musical highlights on the program. If you live in the 17th arrondissement of Paris, head for HOBA.
Nestled in the bucolic Martin Luther King Park, this gourmet, festive spot is set to bring you a convivial Fête de la musique 2025 in association with Generazione Magzine & Spaghetti Unplugged, with a menu of sweet treats and sunny DJ sets.
