Sunday, June 21, 2026, from 8:00 to 9:00 PM - Free admission

For the third time, the Grande Mosquée de Paris teams up with Music Day to offer the public, in its gardens and cultural space, a journey into the heart of Samaa Soufi around spiritual chants. For the occasion, the public will meet Brahim Hadj Kacem, the renowned Algerian singer, musician and interpreter of Arab-Andalusian music. Brahim Hadj Kacem will, for this event, be accompanied by a ensemble of percussionists specializing in the traditional rhythms of Samâa, by a female choir that will handle the choral responses and vocal accompaniments, and by a narrator ensuring transitions and introducing the different figures.

Specifically designed to resonate with the architecture and mission of the Grand Mosque of Paris, this performance is a celebration of the sacred word, carried by the leading figures of Sufi thought from the Arab-Muslim world in recent centuries, the Grand Mosque of Paris announces on its website.
