Tick tock, tick tock... Only a few days left to celebrate the new Fête de la musique in Paris and the Île-de-France region! Every June 21, the French take to the streets to celebrate live music in all its forms.
For more than 40 years now, the Fête de la musique has been an opportunity for amateur musicians to make themselves known to as many people as possible. Whether in the street, on bridges and squares, or in parks and gardens, cafés and restaurants, churches and museums, the musical delights on offer fill our hearts every June 21.
In Paris, the choice promises to be a difficult one, with so many options to choose from. There are, of course, the must-see events, such as the free France Inter concerts at the Olympia, the electro festival on the square in front of the 15th arrondissement town hall, or the big concert in the garden of the Louvre Museum to close France Music Week. Unusual concerts are just as plentiful, as are good electro deals. Every June 21, a number of artists take their turntables out in front of a store or restaurant to rock out to house, disco or techno beats.
For fans of electro music, we've got just the ticket! On Saturday June 21, 2025, if you're in the vicinity of La Villette, head for A La Folie. The famous spot in eastern Paris will be hosting a number of DJs for an XXL open-air party from 6pm to 4am!
