Do you prefer rock? Electro? Classic? Unusual? Sunny? This Saturday, June 21, 2025, the Fête de la musique is set to sweep through Paris and the rest of the Île-de-France region!
The Fête de la Musique was launched in France in 1982, under the impetus of Jack Lang, then Minister of Culture, Maurice Fleuret and Christian Dupavillon, architect-scenographer and cabinet member. At the time, their objective was simple: to launch a major event enabling all musicians to play and make themselves known during a festive evening.
For over 40 years now, the festival has been an undeniable success. The proof is in the pudding this year, with a series of concerts and special offers scattered across Paris and the Ile-de-France region. On June 21, 2025, there's something for everyone, whether you like rock, rap, electro, reggae, classical, zouk, metal or French variety, blues and jazz!
For sunny music fans, head for the Petite Ceinture in Paris's 14th arrondissement. Poinçon, La Bellevilloise's branch located in the former Montrouge-Ceinture station (petite ceinture), offers a caliente evening with a DJ set by DJ Grandpamini featuring salsa, cumbia, merengue, bachata and reggaeton!
