On June 21, we celebrate music with a series of free concerts all over the Île-de-France region. While many towns and cities in the region celebrate music by hosting a variety of musical events, Paris remains a must for dancing to the sounds of young talent and established artists alike.
Every year, the capital celebrates the Fête de la Musique with a flurry of concerts featuring rock, reggae, electro, rap, French variety, metal, zouk and classical music.
While some of the events on offer in Paris during the Fête de la musique have become unmissable, such as the 36h Saint-Eustache festival and the free France Inter evening at the Olympia, there are many other concerts to discover every June 21 in the capital, whether on the banks of the Seine, on rooftops, in squares, parks and gardens, in bars or in museums.
How about celebrating music this June 21 at the sublime Parisian Jacquemart-André museum ? Certainly one of the finest museums in Paris, the Musée Jacquemart-André is located in the chic 8th arrondissement. This private museum houses the private collection of the Jacquemart-André couple, with many incredible treasures by Uccello, Mantegna, Botticelli, Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Fragonard, Reynolds... Art lovers can admire works by French, Italian and Flemish painters, as well as a number of paintings and sculptures by English and Dutch artists.
For this Fête de la musique 2025, the Jacquemart-André museum welcomes the Chœur National des Jeunes with two free concerts on June 21.
