As every year, right on cue, the Fête de la Musique makes its return on June 21. In 2026, this grand cultural and popular event falls on a Sunday, offering ample opportunities to soak up a wealth of musical experiences—from bars and restaurants to museums, cultural centers, parks and gardens, and even churches and other unconventional venues.
Once again this year, our instinct tells us that eclecticism will be at the forefront, with rock, electro, metal, classical, blues, jazz, French pop and even salsa!
We recall that the Fête de la musique was created in 1982. Spearheaded by then Culture Minister Jack Lang, along with Maurice Fleuret and Christian Dupavillon, an architect-designer and cabinet member, the very first edition of the Fête de la musique was launched in France on June 21, 1982. Since then, the event has grown in scale and even spread abroad.
Sunday, June 21, 2026, a host of top music options await you across Île-de-France, including in Romainville. In this Seine-Saint-Denis town, the Fondation Fiminco will welcome Didi Han for a DJ set that should transport you to South Korea without leaving the Île-de-France region!
South Korean DJ and producer Didi Han will take the stage at the Fondation Fiminco on June 21, 2026, to close in style—music included—the Korean contemporary art exhibition, titled “Illumination.”
Born in Seoul and now based in Paris, Didi Han blends house, electronica, and organic textures in sets that are both elegant and immersive. She invites you to experience this at the Fondation Fiminco on June 21, as part of this year's Music Day celebrations!
