On the occasion of the 2026 Fête de la Musique, to be celebrated on Sunday, June 21, gospel music invades the 15th arrondissement in an unusual spot, under the elevated metro, for acoustics like no other. Here’s the program!

Heads up: due to the red heat alert, some events of the Music Day 2026 may be canceled, postponed or altered. Check the details before you go.

A fresh edition of the Fête de la musique is upon us! Join us on Sunday, June 21, 2026 across Paris and Île-de-France to enjoy a wide array of free concerts. By the way, what is the Fête de la musique all about? Launched in France in 1982, the Fête de la musique is a large, popular, festive, and free celebration whose goal is to give a voice to budding musicians and emerging bands.

Timed to the summer solstice—this year falling on Sunday, June 21—the Fête de la Musique is a chance to spotlight emerging talent across every genre, from rap and rock to classical, jazz, blues, electronic, reggae, and French chanson. It’s a day-long, all-genre music marathon with concerts for every taste from morning to night!

Street corners aren’t the only stages: countless performances spill into parks, squares and gardens, museums, cultural institutions, and even churches, with bars, cafes and restaurants joining in. And some venues promise a touch of the unusual! How about gathering under an elevated metro line for once? In the 15th arrondissement, head to La Motte-Picquet-Grenelle for a gospel outdoor concert!
