The Fête de la musique is back in the capital this Sunday, June 21, 2026 to the delight of free-concert fans! On the occasion of the summer solstice, this popular, celebratory event that has existed in France since 1982 spills into the streets of Paris and Île-de-France. No matter which neighborhood you wander through that evening, you can expect a bounty of live music across genres, thanks to the lineup of numerous amateur and professional artists.
The upside of being in the capital is that you’ll find good options everywhere—bars, museums, parks, churches, and even in the museums, as well as in churches, but also in tiers-lieux, including on the Petite Ceinture! Dedicated to circular fashion, sustainable food, and culture, the TLM—this welcoming, community-driven space housed in a former railway shed since 2024—awaits in the 19th arrondissement, along the stretch between Rosa Parks and Corentin Cariou.
For this summer solstice, step aboard an analog journey of vinyl records and open air, set among the greenery and orbiting the stars! The train leaves at 3 p.m. with La Butte’s sun-drenched house, guiding you gently toward the heavens. At 7 p.m., we push the brass through the sounds of Fanfare Rosa Villette up to Renva and Foxin’s spaceship, taking us on a voyage from 8 p.m. to midnight! Also on the program: cartomancy and exhibitions.
