Nocturnal Magic 2022 at the Halles: Experience Speculum, the "Garden of Delights" at Nelson Mandela Park

The Nuit Blanche is making its return to Paris for another night packed with incredible artistic surprises! Once again, the Jardin Nelson Mandela is the place to be, offering an unconventional and captivating program sure to inspire dreams all evening. On Saturday, October 1, 2022, starting at 7 p.m. and stretching into the early hours, visitors can marvel at the massive digital installation by the Dutch art collective SMACK.

Visitors can lose themselves in this massive installation, which immerses us in a 3D imagery representation of the Garden of Earthly Delights. This artwork was created between 1494 and 1505 by Dutch artist Hieronymus Bosch. The painter crafted a triptych that depicts his vision of the world. At first glance, you see Adam and Eve enjoying the Garden of Eden; then, scenes of humanity before the Great Flood; and finally, the Hell.

This extraordinary piece is brought to life through a 3D imaging installation, offering a unique viewing experience beneath the Parisian night sky at the Nelson Mandela Garden.
