The Nuit Blanche will allow everyone to enjoy an atypical artistic encounter, thanks to extended hours and a rich and diversified program. Initiated in 2022, the Galerie d'Artistes Ouverte is anchored one Saturday per season, with the support of the City Hall of the 20th arrondissement.

TheAPLA, which has been established for 33 years in the Père-Lachaise district at Square Sarah Bernhardt, is known for its dynamism and its numerous artistic initiatives. This association regularly organizes open days, participates in the Nuit Blanche and in collective exhibitions. The idea of sharing is at the heart of their approach, and the Galerie Ouverte welcomes local artists, such as those from Belleville or Ménilmontant, as well as those who wish to exhibit on file.

This 2023 edition of the Nuit Blanche will see the participation of about thirty artists in various disciplines: painting, engraving, photography, sculpture or mixed media. Each artist will have a space to showcase his or her work, encouraging exchanges and artistic discovery.APLA is also collaborating with the Datris Foundation on the theme "Touching the Earth" and is preparing a partnership with the "Autograph" graphic design school for 2024, thus ensuring the promotion of young creation and artistic diversity.

And for the record, the Nuit Blanche is an emblematic cultural and artistic event of the French capital, which was born in 2002. Inspired by similar events organized in other cities around the world, this Parisian event invites residents and visitors to rediscover the city in a new light, by highlighting contemporary art and artistic performances during an entire night. Usually held on the first Saturday of October, the Nuit Blanche is now held in June and transforms the City of Light with a myriad of art installations, exhibitions, concerts and shows that take place in unusual places, historical monuments and public spaces.

Open to all and free of charge, the event aims to democratize contemporary art and promote creativity by encouraging encounters between artists and the public. Over the years, the Nuit Blanche has become an unmissable event for art and culture lovers, turning Paris into an open-air art scene for one dazzling night. So, should we plan our evening?
