The Nuit Blanche, the quintessential Parisian rendezvous where art and the city mingle for one exceptional evening, returns in force for its 2026 edition, this Saturday, June 6. A remarkable nocturnal event that transforms Paris into a vast open-air museum, inviting curious minds and enthusiasts to explore new artistic horizons in a festive and creative atmosphere. For this year, Nuit Blanche once again promises an unprecedented journey through contemporary art and music.
At the heart of this event is the Générateur in Gentilly, an emblematic venue for live performance, renowned for its promotion of contemporary art in all its forms. A 400 m² former factory has become a unique venue for creation and performance, where art unfolds live to offer unforgettable experiences. At Le Générateur, every performance is a unique journey, an encounter between artist and audience that transcends the boundaries between disciplines and cultures.
Every year, Générateur surprises and delights us with its innovative, festive, and offbeat programming. Concerts, shows, exhibitions, performances... We’re rarely disappointed by the lineup! One more reason, if you needed one, not to miss this Nuit Blanche 2026 at Générateur in Gentilly. Come experience a night of discoveries and wonder under the banner of culture and creativity!
Based in the 400-square-metre space of Le Générateur, a hallucinatory hybrid creature named Doctor Licht welcomes us into his light laboratory.
Halfway between a 1960s psychedelic light show and the legend of the enlightened scientist, Dr Licht manipulates beams that travel across surfaces, encounter liquids and other tiny mechanisms, revealing moving, unstable, unknown landscapes. Sound resonates with light: micro-movements, amplitude, mass, vibration… Dr Licht’s experiments invite us to see and feel light as a sensitive, fragile, living entity.
