The Nuit Blanche 2026 program at the Robert Doisneau House of Photography:

  • PAUL CLOUSIER & LUCUS / I long to dissolve myself
    Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

"I want to dissolve myself" draws from a longing, almost mystic, to leave the body behind and to live with what lies beyond it. The poetics of self-effacement becomes, in this sense, a gesture that saturates the bonds. Paul Clousier and Lucus bring the Robert Doisneau House of Photography and the surrounding public space into dialogue, united by a shared preoccupation with frenzied reproduction. Through the interplay of a textile installation and a live sound piece, loops and knots respond to one another to jointly explore the urge to self-destruct in fainting and the urge to live fully.
