Do you know what Pepin the Short, Saint-Eloi, Blanche de Castille, Sophie Marceau and Robert Doisneau all have in common? They all have something in common with Gentilly, a commune to the south of Paris in the Val-de-Marne region. Accessible from Paris by RER B train, Gentilly has a rich history dating back to Neolithic times, and is home to a number of art and cultural venues.
It is also one of the most dynamic towns in Île-de-France during this 25th edition of the Nuit Blanche. Gentilly will indeed host numerous installations and performances on Saturday, June 6, 2026, to celebrate contemporary creation.
Not yet familiar with Nuit Blanche? Take advantage of this June edition to discover one of the most important artistic events in Paris. Every year since 2002, Nuit Blanche has showcasedcontemporary art in all its forms, from painting and dance to audiovisual and unusual performances.
This event is very popular with visitors, who can admire and take part in a host of happenings throughout the evening, in Paris and in the cities of the Grand Paris metropolis. Free and open to all, Nuit Blanche brings a dash of excitement and a few surprises on the evening of June 6, 2026.
