La Nuit Blanche is one of the must-attend events on the Parisian calendar. An entire night dedicated tocontemporary art in all its forms, with hours of performances, exhibitions, concerts, shows and installations to be discovered in the four corners of the capital and surrounding communes.
Of course, many Nuit Blanche events take place in museums and art galleries. But that's not all! Nuit Blanche also takes place in more unusual venues. Some artists set up in lavomatics, on fountains... Or in the heart of the Sorbonne chapel, in Paris's 5th arrondissement.
The famous university is home to a newly restored chapel. This historic landmark dates back to the 17th century, and was built on the orders of Cardinal Richelieu. Listed as a Monument Historique since 1887, the chapel is an exceptional place to honor literature, science, law and medicine, the four faculties of the Sorbonne University. A blend of art, history and spirituality, this site is well worth a visit.
So we're taking advantage of the Nuit Blanche on Saturday June 7, 2025 to discover it, and enjoy the free artistic entertainment organized during this special evening.
