Undoubtedly the favorite event for lovers of contemporary art. A unique evening when art in all its forms takes center stage. A night when Paris becomes an open-air museum, and anything can happen... This Saturday, June 6, 2026, Nuit Blanche is back for its 25th edition in the capital!
Nuit Blanche Nuit Blanche was born in 2002. This major cultural event quickly became a fixture on the Paris calendar. It has to be said that Nuit Blanche is unlike any other artistic event. For one night, art spills out of museums and galleries to take over every corner of Paris. Artists seize the streets, the banks of the Seine, parks and gardens, squares, and even churches, performance venues, gyms, and libraries to showcase the full diversity and richness of contemporary art.
Exhibitions, concerts, performances, installations, shows — fans of the Nuit Blanche know it: on this night, anything can happen, even the unexpected!
This Saturday, we’re headed to Gymnase Jemmapes in the 10th arrondissement to discover a special artistic installation. Don’t miss it: it will be open to the public for one night only! See what’s in store at Gymnase Jemmapes. Note: Nuit Blanche events tend to draw large crowds, so it’s best to arrive early to avoid the bustle.
Immersive interactive installation
The project offers a real-time immersive simulation of an ecosystem, built from game engines. Through procedurally generated, evolving environments, the installation explores the organizing logics of living systems—interactions, balances, mutations—by juxtaposing them with social and economic dynamics.
In Vitro is a multimedia artist duo co-founded by Xiyue Hu and Xing Xiao. Their practice, at the crossroads of media art, 3D cinema and immersive technologies (virtual and augmented reality), relies on interdisciplinary collaborations, notably with biologists and archaeologists. Their work interrogates complex systems—biological, technological and social—by considering science and the humanities as deeply intertwined.
