The Paris 2024 Olympic Games are getting closer, and the draws are starting to take place. Water polo is the first in a long series of draws for all team sports, ahead of basketball, soccer, handball, rugby and volleyball in the coming months. For this team aquatic sport, the 22 teams qualified for the Games (12 men's and 10 women's) now know their qualifying pools and future opponents, whom they will face from July 27 to August 11, 2024, between the Olympic Aquatic Center and Paris La Défense Arena.
The curious and fans of this discipline will now be able to buy their tickets for the session of their choice where their national team will play on the official ticketing site, with tickets still available from as little as 70 euros! For both men and women, France is in Group B!
While the men's French team, recent semi-finalists at the world championships, will face Hungary and its 9 Olympic titles, the French women find themselves in the group of the Americans, three-time defending Olympic champions. The Centre Aquatique will host almost all the group matches, but the final day will take place in Nanterre on August 5, before the finals.
