In September, alongside hundreds of associations across France, JeVeuxAider.gouv.fr, the public platform for volunteering, will be showcasing volunteer actions that foster trust, knowledge sharing, emancipation and the dreams of grown-up children.
On the program: mentoring, tutoring, workshops, training, tutoring... How can you get involved as a volunteer?
Nothing could be simpler: go to JeVeuxAider.gouv.fr, choose the mission that's right for you, as close to home as possible or from a distance, for as long as you like, and take concrete action for equal opportunity!
JeVeuxAider.gouv. fr's strength lies in its ability to mobilize people across the country, where and when they need it.
3 key themes for concrete actions that make a difference! Thousands of participants are expected to take part in 3 areas of action:
1 > Mentoring: nurturing one another
A relationship based on openness and mutual learning, mentoring helps restore a taste for learning and broaden horizons. This peer-to-peer relationship, which supports young people aged 5 to 30, is conducted in close collaboration with the mentee's social and family environment. According to the European definition, mentoring is "an interpersonal relationship between a volunteer who accompanies a mentee for a period of at least 6 months".
2 > Tutoring and training: we all have something to share
Sometimes the pebble in the shoe isn't confidence or a lack of prospects. It can be a skill or learning that we lack. Literacy, learning French, tutoring, computer training or initiation. Discover all the volunteer missions that solve the most unequal situations through transmission.
3 > Activities, leisure activities, awareness-raising workshops: building bridges
The theme of education is as much about tutoring as it is about activities, games and awareness-raising. Acting for equal opportunity also means presenting our profession, opening up the field of possibilities, accompanying outings, and freeing the public from stereotypes through rich and varied activities.
Also on the program: 3 exclusive webinars
