Boogie Nights is coming to HBO Max.

Boogie Nights is an American comedy-drama directed and written by Paul Thomas Anderson, starring Mark Wahlberg, Burt Reynolds, and Julianne Moore. Released in theaters in 1998, the film depicts the rise and fall of an adult film star in 1970s California. It will be available on HBO Max starting November 1, 2025.

In 1977, Eddie Adams, a young dishwasher in a San Fernando Valley nightclub, crosses paths with director Jack Horner. Horner sees potential in him and introduces him to the world of pornographic cinema. Becoming famous under the pseudonym Dirk Diggler, Eddie discovers a world of freedom, success, and excess, before facing setbacks in an era marked by social change and the advent of video.
