The famous musical Singin’ In The Rain is back in 2018 for a film concert at Paris Philharmonie. Meet on December 22 and 23 for beautiful movie moments!

“I’m singin’ in the rain… I’m singin’ in the rain!” everyone has already sung this famous tune at least once, a tune that comes from the eponymous musical. Created in 1952 by Stanley Donen and Gene Kelly, this musical inspired good mood and hasn’t age at old and this is what Paris Philharmonie wants to show you in December 2018!

On Saturday December 22 and Sunday December 23, Paris 19th arrondissement concert venue proposes three film concert sessions. On the menu: the screening of Singin’ in the Rain on a giant screen with the 3D Orchestra (conducted by Ernst Van Tiel) performing the film music composed about 50 years earlier by Nacio Herb Brown.

For those who haven’t seen this cinema monument, it tells the Hollywood in the roaring 20 through the adventures of three artists played by Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds and Donald O’Connor (who won the Golden Globe for best actor).
