Spider-Man: Far From Home is an American action-adventure film directed by Jon Watts, starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, and Jake Gyllenhaal. Written by Jon Watts and Christopher Ford, it follows on from the eventsof Avengers: Endgame and is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film will be available on HBO Max from November 1, 2025.
After the battlesof Endgame, Peter Parker tries to return to a normal life by going on a school trip across Europe. But his trip is interrupted by Nick Fury, who enlists him to counter the threat of the Elementals. Accompanied by Mysterio, a hero from another universe, Peter must face a mission that exceeds his expectations and challenges his perception of the role of a superhero.
Filmed in London, Prague, and Venice, the movie showcases a variety of European settings and a bright visual tone that contrasts with the gravity of the previous installment. Jon Watts emphasizes the human and intimate side of Peter Parker, while building a spectacular clash between illusion and reality through the character of Mysterio.
With its mixof action, humor, and more introspective moments, Spider-Man: Far From Home is for fans of action movies and coming-of-age stories. It concludes Phase 3 of the MCU by exploring grief, mentorship, and the young hero's responsibility.

Original title: Spider-Man: Far From Home
Nationality: United States
Combining comedy, adventure, and introspection, Spider-Man: Far From Home coherently continues Peter Parker's evolution in the post-Tony Stark Marvel universe.
Our opinion:
Spider-Man: Far From Home is great entertainment, dynamic, full of twists and turns, and with subtle but effective humor that comes in welcome touches without overwhelming the story. Tom Holland definitively embraces the role of Spider-Man with a mature performance, becoming THE new figure of the post-Endgame MCU.
The acting is more profound, thanks in part to richer dialogue and characters with more depth. Special mention goes to Zendaya and her character, who is more developed than in the first installment. Mysterio, played by Jake Gyllenhaal, is also particularly well exploited, especially in the second half of the film, in keeping with the times and in tune with another character from the first installment, namely Vulture, in terms of technology.
On the downside, the first part is a little uniform, but it sets the scene and sets the stage for a second part that is more in tune. The special effects are rather polished, offering visually stunning scenes, whether wide shots or close-ups.
The film leans closer to the comics towards the end, but still surprises us with its ability to break away from its literary heritage and offer something new and refreshing. The post-credits scenes are definitely worth watching, so stay until the very end!
